LUCIFERS - GLUTEN FREE PIZZA!
Ok, what do we know so far...I can't eat wheat but I LOVE pizza!!!! This contradiction had me thinking that I've been cursed by the devil...But then Lucifer's gluten free pizza answered all my prayers!
Apart from providing gluten free crusts, Lucifer's offers a unique range of toppings for their pizzas such as: Thai satay, cranberry and camembert and Greek lamb and rosemary....
I like it fiery!!!!
I tried the personal size gluten free pumpkin, prosciutto, roasted garlic and basil pizza. It was yummilicious! The sauce was nice and sweet and the pumpkin was delicious. The only thing I would say, is that I would have preferred the prosciutto to be sliced thiner.
The wheat eaters tried a large split pizza - half magherita and half BBQ chicken. They all agreed that it was delicious!!!
I was nearly finished eating and then something amazing happened...a gluten free meat lovers pizza was given to us for FREE because of a mix up in the kitchen! We were already pretty full but we managed to stuff in one more slice each! The wheat heads said that the gluten free crust was pretty good and tasted similar to their crust!
GUESS WHAT??? They do delivery too! Now I just have to move within their delivery zone...
Yummy factor: Bloody yummy!!!!!!!!!
Pocket: Pricier than a regular pizza joint - but this place 'aint regular!
Service: Sweet, friendly and helpful!
Atmosphere: The decor fits the name - lots of flames, black walls, candles and coffin shaped table! You can see the pizza being made in background and there is seating outside as well. The house music doesn't go with the name however - they should be playing death metal or something - although that might not be OK with all the customers!
Take a trip down river the Hades (Sunset Blvd during rush hour!) Los Feliz and visit Lucifer's.
