THANK YOU VETERANS
A big salute to my dad and the US veterans who fight for our right to surf, blog, dye our hair green and eat tacos everyday of the week if choose to do so. You're pretty awesome.
It's my wish all active soldiers can do two things:
1. Come home for Christmas
2. Be openly gay

This picture is fiction.
Of course you are allowed to dream, but I just wanted to point out that this scenario is not in your reality.
Wifey says NO...
1) standing up on motorcycle
2) one leg in the air
3) dog in sidecar
4) sidecar off the ground
5) helmet??!
6) Danger is not your middle name, your middle name is Francis.

MY MOM'S BLOG
Go to PERFECTLY POETIC.BLOGSPOT.COM and read my mom's poetry, try her tried and true recipes and look at some cool vintage family pictures. I'm to blame, she needed a place other to channel her musings and inspirations so I told her it was time to blog. She's so relevant with her technology. I gave her blogger template an amateur make over. A cookie cutter template wasn't good enough for my mom.

OUTDOOR ICE SKATING IN L.A
'Tis the season to ice skate!!! As I mentioned last year, just because we live under the sunshine and palm trees in L.A doesn't mean we can't embrace some of those crisp wintery traditions!
Downtown on Ice is back at Pershing Square from 18th November 2010 to 17th January 2011. It's still L.A's largest outdoor rink and still only $6.00 admission plus $2.00 skate rental fee! There are also special seasonal events to check out too!

If you reside on the West Side then get yer skates on because Ice at Santa Monica opened last weekend and will be staying frosty until 15th February 2011! Admission and skate rental costs $10.
