Are you feeling like a night with the girl's is in order? Well, how about heading out to the cinema to catch some classic chick flicks this Saturday???! Cinefamily's "Dumber in the Summer" Saturdays nights will be playing two 80's teen movies both based in the heat of the San Fernando Valley!
Foxes follows the lives of four girls including; Jodie Foster and "Cherry Bomb" Cherie Currie, as they try to stick together battling through adolescent suburbia, whilst running away from abusive parents, getting tangled in drugs, and the lure of boys like Scott Baio!
Valley Girl is an 80's Romeo and Juliet tale that sparks love between the unlikely Hollywood Hooligan and the Valley Princess. There's some great one liners that'll have you trying to use the word "tripendicular" in a sentence! This fun girlie 80's film with Nicholas Cage will be guaranteed to have you leaving the cinema arm in arm with your girlies singing "I'll Stop the World and melt with You...."
There will be a gelato bar and fashion show this Saturday too! Why??? Because chicks dig it!
